Welcome to Wed-Start!
Well it’s been a long time coming but I am utterly delighted to finally introduce Wed-Start to the world.
The idea for Wed-Start occurred to me some time ago (back in 2015 actually). At that time I was what you might call a ‘full’ wedding planner - working with couples from engagement through to their big day itself, helping them with every step in planning their perfect event. I LOVED my work and was lucky enough to create some incredible weddings in some awesome locations (St Lucia, New York, The Maldives to name a few).
What I did find though was that for every couple who really wanted or needed that full service, I had maybe 10 enquiries from couples who had the time and skills to plan their own event, they just didn’t know where to start. There is just SO MUCH wedding planning advice out there and so much to think about. It’s exciting, but also overwhelming.

Wed-Start is designed to cut through all that noise and give engaged couples the advice that they actually need to plan their wedding. Not the generic one-size-trying-to-fit-all stuff.
